“The percentage of global identification obtained in SLNB was above the level recommended by the current guidelines. An elevation was observed in the level of efficacy of the technique which has evolved from level ii, at which the requisites are sufficiently fulfilled, to level iii, at which the requisites are met with a degree of excellence. These data contribute to the implementation of a portable gamma camera in the detection of SLN, although variables such as the experience acquired by the team are difficult to measure.“
